pain and sensitivity following extraction depends upon the condition of extracted tooth, how traumatically it has been extracted, and pain threshold of an individual. you need to take an x-ray for the extracted site as well as the adjacent teeth to confirm whether any portion of the tooth which has been left out in the socket and also to see the adjacent teeth for deep caries which could be the cause for pain and sensitivity. Some times local anesthetic injection site will be painful.it is normal.

There usually remains some pain after an extraction in the neighbouring area around the site of extraction,,but if it does not subside,,get an X-ray done and see a dentist.

Hi, Usually the  primary healing of extraction site occurs 7-10 days. So, persistent pain in the treated site after 23 days maybe due to secondary infection at the extraction site.
Next Steps
So, please consult the concerned dentist at the earliest and follow up with them.
