Sensation loss in leftleg
I have back pain, though not severe, at a particular point on my spinal chord. Suffering from loss of sensation in my left leg from hip. Cant feel hot or cold, burning sensation when touched. Having problem while having sex, less or no feeling at all. Leg feels like in ice bucket. Tingling sensation with pain while sleeping. This is happening for last 1 year. I have consulted neurologist and was prescribed medicine, which does not help. Physiotherapy somewhat helps ease the issue but only temporary relief.

Considering the loss of sensation and the other symptoms you mention, the most probable diagnosis is a prolapsed disc compressing the nerve root.
I would advice you to have an MRI SCAN of your spine to look at the disc or any other cause for compression.
Only after an MRI scan can further treatment be recommended.

Hello there,,,,,well you do have a complaint which a lot of IT professionals have these dayz....in my practise in pune almost every 3rd person suffers from symptoms which you have told....but ofcourse a physcial examination is necessary to actually come to a proper diagnosis.
Could you answer a few of my questions.
1) Is your pain at the lower back/upper back?
2)the right leg is completely fine?
3) whats your BP and Sugar level?
4)do you get pain even at rest or only on activity?
5)how long do you sit in your chair?
6)how do you commute to work?
7)Do you smoke?if yes how many ciggretes a day?

if i am guessing what really your problem is....then it should bring relief to you in 3 weeks time with proper supplimentation,exercises and electro modalities.
do resort back to me with the answers to my question....dont ignore the problem
