Your doctor would have advise d you 2 antiepileptics for a particular reason. Usually, if a patient remains seizure free for 3 years, then an attempt can be made to taper off antiepileptics. If the taper off is tolerated well, then antiepileptics may be switched off. Recurrence of seizure requires longer duration of antiepileptic intake. Folvite counters side effect of option and should be taken with it.
Next Steps
I suggest a consult for a proper history and seizure documentation before an attempt can be made for tapering either medication

Would like to know the basic cause for seizure since duration of treatment depends on underlying cause which led to seizures any structural abnormalities in the brain or any metabolic problem Tapering off anti seizure medications depend on frequency of the seizures and type of seizure disorder Said this the 3 year period of no seizures could be considered for tapering off medications ..probably after an EEG
Next Steps
it's better to consult a neurologist in person with all the old reports and history before taking a decision on tapering medications
