SECOND OPINION NEEDED
Since the last 3 days, I’ve had left arm and left chest pain (mainly while getting up or moving) and a burning feeling in the center of the chest at rest, along with some dizziness. Serial ECGs normal, high-sensitivity Trop I undetectable, TMT (13 METs) n echo normal one week prior. Done CT coronary angio 6 months ago, though unsure about scan quality since bit high rate during test No diabetes or smoking. LDL 120, HDL 44, Lp(a) 5, hs crp-2.23 Currently on Pantop-D and nerve med but symptoms still persist. Could this be related to nerve, gastric, or cervical spine issues? Would you recommend an MRI cervical spine or any other evaluation?

Hi there, I'm Dr. Shivangi, a family physician. I'd like to help you with your doubt. - The burning sensation or pain in the chest could most likely be due to GERD/ Acute gastritis : but due to persistent symptoms, even with Pantop, it's better to do a UGI endoscopy, and rule out H pylori, because it can cause persistent symptoms - The pain in the left arm could be due to a mild nerve compression at the level of the cervical spinal cord, so further history as to your line of work, posture, any previous injuries would be needed, and preferably an MRI cervical spine with whole spine screening.
Next Steps
Kindly do the above procedures and you can let me know about the results, and we can take it forward from there.
Health Tips
Avoid strenuous activity, and avoid spicy, oily food. Hope you feel better, thanks.
