Second opinion
Child got throat pain and then running nose with sneeze and cough. Doc said viral infection and didn't prescribe antibiotic. Current medication leftose, brufen, procodin. Is antibiotics necessary. Can I continue above medicine

Antibiotics to be started only if tonsils or throat is inflamed. If the infection is viral antibiotics are of no use
