MRISCANOF THORACIC SPINE Multiplanar MR imaging of the Thoracic spine has been performed using a phased- array spine coil and large FOV.Severe scoliosis of lower dorsal spine noted with convexity towards left side.A left D10 hemivertebra is noted at the level of maximum scoliotic deformity.Compensatory scoliosis with convexity towards right side is noted in the upper dorsal spine.Right D4 hemivertebra is noted with partial fusion of the posterior elements of the D3, D4 and D5 vertebra on left side.Fusion of C5 and C6 vertebra is noted Partial fusion of C7 and D1 vertebra is noted with fusion of the right sided posterior elements.There is fusion of right sided posterior elements of D2 and D3 vertebra No significant disc bulge or herniation noted in dorsal spine.Dorsal cord appears normal in signal intensity No abnormal cord signal or cord compression is seen.No pre, paravertebral or epidural soft tissue or haematom a is seen.Note is made of mild degenerative cervical spondylotic changes
