Can anyone please tell me how to talk or how to act normal with a schizophrenic patient so that the patient does not get violent with anyone around

Hello,
Patients suffering from schizophrenia have to be treated like anyone else.However there are some points that need to be kept in mind.
It is better not to argue or challenge any delusions( suspicions) that the patient has.
When the patient is agitated, avoid eye contact and try to de escalate the argument by leaving the place .
Avoid criticism, hostility and over involvement.
