Sciatica and knee pain
I had undergone D&C procedure for early pregnancy termination in Jan 2022 and in Feb 2022 I took kenacort injections in my tailbone area and left lower back. The pain continued so I did an MRI and there was a nerve compression in L5-S1 in April 2022, and I took Physiotherapy for the same and the condition improved, sometimes the pain would flare up but it was manageable and my left was also a bit unstable. Currently I have very bad pain in my left knee and I am unable to balance weight properly on left foot (it is always paining). I have started Physiotherapy again but not a much of difference and the Physiotherapist said there's some issue in meniscus (left knee feels like something is stuck between it and makes a loud popping sound) and patellar tendinitis. Day to day walking is a bit painful as of now. Please suggest if I should get an MRI done again and what could be the root cause and long term relief treatment, thank you so much for your support and time!!

Yes better to get examined by orthopedic surgeon nearby and then go for MRI or any investigations. Particularly for knee you may have meniscus related issue or chondromalacia patellae at this age .

Feeling of your knee getting stuck and popping sound with pain is suggestive of derangement of your meniscus.. You should be examined clinically for meniscus issues and only then a scan will help to confirm clinical diagnosis..Only then a proper treatment can be done. Left foot pain can be due to different issues and unrelated to knee..
