Patient is taking clozapine for schizophrenia 500mg/day is it continued for lifetime as doctors said that patient medicine end after 8 months so what is your opinion patient is feeling 90 percent better now

Schizophrenia is a mental disorder which usually leads to suffering for long time. Clozapine is a licensed treatment for schizophrenia. Clozapine controls symptoms and is not a cure. So one has to take medicine long term. Some times we gradually reduce clozapine to see whether they can be managed with out it.
It is good to hear that patient is 90% better
