Hello. Generally speaking, most muscle injuries happen in the tendenous area (where the muscles get attached to the bone). To repair this, body starts depositing calcium, in a rough manner, there, which causes scarring.
Once this calcium gets deposited, body starts to 'sculpt' this calcium to the body part. This entire process can take anywhere between 3-6 months. Until then, pain can be felt. But, despite knowing this, we cannot just ignore the pain. We need to confirm eveeything around the area is healthy and intact, and that can happen only with an in-person consult.
