Scanty periods- 6 months regular periods
Hello all, Iam a 34yrs old female, married from last 3yrs. trying for pregnancy from last 2yrs. All tests for myself and husband are normal. Doctors advised us to try for natural pregnancy as we both husband and wife are healthy and normal. My periods have been always regular irrespective of hypothyroidism problem. From past 6months my cycle was regular and was getting normal periods but all of a sudden this month I was late by 5days and on 5th day I had little spotting, you can say scanty periods with dark brown blood. Not sure If I am pregnant or not? What Should I do??? Should I go for pregnancy test or is it normal?

Yes do the urine pregnancy test. If positive, consult a gynaecologist immediately. If negative, you are getting premenstrual spotting and your periods will follow.

You are overdue by 5 days. At this time if you do urine pregnancy test it will be positive (if you are pregnant). Please do the test and consult with a Gynaecologist with the report.
