We are having one child she is 8 years now we tried for another child. My wife is 24 weeks pregnant. LMP 10/11/22. Double marker was in high risk and we consulted fetal medicine they did micro array and QF-PCR and after 1 month result came as no aneuploidy. 5th month scan was done at fetal medicine center and they said everything is good. 6th month scan we did it near our home and they said HC and BPD is less than 2 weeks by gestational age. Again in 3 days we took went for another scan center and there also they said baby HC and BPD is less than 1 percentile. Radiologist and our OBG all said that baby head will be small and there is interval growth from 5th to 6th month. We consulted another Gynaecologist they said baby head would be small and it could be because of brain development and baby will have low IQ.
We are really worried like what happens if in further scan also the baby head remains small and then if it will be mentally challenged.
Reports attached.

Head circumference and BPD , both being below 1 percentile is a serious matter. Duration of pregnancy is 24 weeks. In fact it is 26 weeks. You should consult with the Gynaecologists at some Medical College. Even MTP may be a problem.
If HC and BPD is less than 2 percentile it shows that brain doesn’t grow as it should be , and if that is the case baby can have some developmental issues. Like hearing problems, vision problems, developmental delay.
Consult near by gynecologist.
If the microarray n PCR ruled out aneuploidy
U can relax
Also a discrepancy of more than 2 weeks between hc n fl is a matter of concern
Not so in the ultrasound shared
U can repeat scan after 3 weeks
Also at this point of time nothing in the form of treatment or termination can be offered
All d best
Get an ultrasound from a fetal medicine expert.
In both the scans no anomaly is found
It is mentioned that it may be constitutionally small
Means normal
Anyway we cannot find out more about development of intelligence right now. It will be revealed after birth as the baby grows up.
