Scabies re infestation
Hi ,
I was diaganosed with scabies on 30th August. I was asked to take ivermectin 12 MG ( 1 dose) and apply scabpers lotion/cream once and again after 7 days.
My whole family also applied the scabper solution for twice.
My family except for my daughter never contacted scabies. My daughter was cured after the scabper solution treatment. BUt I have got again rashes and the itching.
Should I follow the same treatment or change medicines?

You can do one more course of the treatment and if it persists beyond that you should reconsult a dermatologist. The presentation could point towards an infection like scabies which is caused by an itch mite. Meet a Dermatologist for better understanding of your current scenario and appropriate treatment approach. You can consider having OTC anti-allergic medications for symptom relief. Many a times other members of the family also need treatment to prevent relapses and can be best decide by your dermatologist.
