Sayatic pain
I have suffered with Sayatic pain past 6 years and take pain killers and maintain. Recently I got severe pain and suffer a lot. Please suggest medicine for Sayatic pain.

Sciatica can be caused from long sitting posture, over weight, lifting any heavy weight etc. The first line treatment is avoid hours together sitting. If the origin is from bulging disc then use lumbar belt with the consultation of your doctor. reduce your weight. Homeopathy has promising treatment for sciatica. 6 years is very long duration of nerve compression. We will require recent MRI report of your situation. Homeopathy reduces the inflammatory process and thus reduces calcium build up, which is the reason for increased pain and compression effects.

Sciatica pain is usually due to compression of the sciatic nerve any where along its course. i.e as the sciatic nerve passes along the back of lumbar region usually called back and travels along the back of thigh and enters the back of leg and reaches foot. So pain along this nerve may be due to compression at any where. And treatment also differs depending upon the site involved and type of pain. In my practice the pain usually comes down with in 24 to 48 hrs of medication and in least case it takes a week so please make specific type of pain and it's radiation. And never use medications with out the guidance of a qualified homoeopathic physician.

Hello... Sciatica is a problem which can be treated only & only with the exercises; and NOT with any kind of medicine. If you will take pain killers, pain sensation goes off temporarily & reappears once the effect of the medicine is gone. Slowly no amount of pain killers help. So what I would suggest is, you should go for correctional exercises as soon as possible.

Sciatica pain is very common now a days homoeopathy can cure any disease according to appearance of sign & symptoms. After applying proper medicine it will be cured permanently. Pain of sciatica depends upon compression. Time of occurrence,nature of pain ,side all are very important . Though there's no specific medicine but Gnaphalium, Mag phos ,Causticum , Rhus tox ,cotyled etc are very good medicine. Selection and potency of similimum medicine depends upon knowledge of physician. So consultation with physician before any treatment is very important..
