RTPCR AND Rapid Antigen test Negative
My husband is suffering for fever which fluctuate from 99.2 to 101 in a day its day 2 now we did a Rapid antigen test at home result was negative ,so we got RTPCR done its says NOT DETECTED. We did cbc and CRP CBC ALL LOOKS GOOD but CRP SAYS 25 which is higher I was told . Can I know what needs to be done as per report of RTPCR and Rapid Antigen covid 19 is negative.. please assist

As both the tests are negative, it can be any other viral flu. Just give paracetamol 8 hrly, lots of fluid and rest. Should be fine within 4-5 days.

In this pandemic era we are more aware of COVID. but there were lot of pathogens before COVID era which are still prevalent in community. It might be something else. Please consult doctor for other blood tests to detect those present or NOT. CRP is very much high. You should do all tests ASAP. Consult & go for remaining tests. Wish your husband's recovery very soon.
