Rosuvastatin Constipation
I was given 5mg Rosuvastatin one week back for high cholestrol , from the next day after taking the first tablet I am experiencing severe constipation, bloating and stomach discomfort.
Is this common problem for this drug even at this small dose.

It happens but will subside slowly

drink plenty of water...
take high fibre low cholesterol diet...
don't eat and sleep keep atleast 2 house of difference ....do some physical activity go for walk

Every one of the Anti-hyperlipidaemic agents causes constipation. So it is upto you to decide what you want, to have constipation or you want to lower your cholesterol levels at any cost, even if you are constipated.
At times patient should also take a call.
