Root canal treatment
My dentist has suggested me to perform root canal on molar. Which toot canal treatment is effective and long lasting. He was saying about laser RCT. And which feelings are long lasting?

Hi. Root canal treatment is the best solution to save the tooth. It can be done by conventional technique or laser. Success depends on removal of complete infection and enamel strength. Both the above techniques are equally same but laser is expensive. Fillings can be done with GIC, composite or miracle mix. All are equally good. Regards

Hiii.....root canal treatments are very effective and if done properly lasts for lifetime. The lasers are used in rct to ensure 100%bacterial elimination hrnce incressing chances of teeth survival.

Root Canal treatment success rate depends on Proper treatment protocol and skill of the doctor. Whether its done with the conventional method or laser, if done properly sucess rate is very high.The treatment method is the same for root canal worldwide. Its just we have different armamentarium.

Success if root canal treatment depends on the complete cleaning and filling of all the canals in the root upto their apex and on the restorability of the tooth( it should not be too broken down or fractured). After the rct,the dentist will suggest an amalgam (silver) or composite restoration followed by a crown which can be metal,porcelain fused to metal or zirconia . any of these can be done
