Hello mam There are some patients whose body is not able to take the two sitting procedures in just one sitting. I would not say that it's your dentists fault but every individual has their own immune system which is different. All you can do is visit your dentist and ask for the removal of the root canal filling and the dentist may place some medicine inside your tooth so that the infection heals. And then once it subsides it can be done again. It's just the response in some patients is exaggerated. Do not panic for this. As you are already on medication along with it please have warm water with salt rinsing. That would aid in reducing the swelling. Kindly visit your dentist and get the filling removed from inside.
