In these days of scorching heat keeping a room heater close to your head (or any part of your body)  can cause serious problems. It will delay normalisation of your body temperature. The more you delay cooling of your body, you may develop dehydration . You should have kept your fan on , let there be cross ventilation, drink plenty of water and other cool drinks, use cold sponging , and take Tablet Paracetamol. A heater is not indicated at all.

It shouldn't be a problem except some discomfort. If it helps with shivering you can use along with a blanket
