Betnovate c is a potent steroid containing cream which is not indicated for scratches/abrasions. Instead u can use neosporin powder or soframycin cream to prevent infection in the open areas. Regular dressing may help.

Hello there.  I can understand your concern.  No its not wise to use this cream as it contains a potent steroid. Ideally you could use a cream like metrogyl-p or t-bact ointment. Do dressing daily after cleaning with warm water and betadine liquid. Consult a general physician in person for further evaluation and management. Best regards. Dr. Anil kumar jain. Bangalore.
