Risk factor in laproscopy
My wife was diagnosed with cyst in overy 3-4 Months ago. Now the doctor suggested to do laproscopy . May I know what are the risk factor in this operation and will it affect child conceiving issue ?

Laparoscopy is generally a safe procedure
Risk associated with the general anaesthesia and surgery shall be very clearly updated to you by the treating doctor
Cyst requires surgery only if the size is more than 7 cm
Surgery can definitely post operatively lead to adhesions and if that happens it can reduce your chances of conception

It depends on the type of the cyst for which they are doing the operation,
Laparoscopy is comparatively safer then open surgery
Has minimal risk
