Rise In Serum Creatinine Levels
I'm diabetic since 6 years.HbA1c remains between 6% - 7%,hypertensive since 2 years with bp remaining around 130/80 or 140/80.Have grade 2 fatty liver disease. No problems or symptoms of kidney disease as such Serum creatinine used to remain 1.0 mg/dl.Tested after 13 months from the same lab & it came 1.2 mg/dl (ref range : 0.72 - 1.25).There has been a spike of 0.2 mg/dl.Reports of blood urea, potassium, urine culture, urine r/e,urine acr & usg (kub + pvru) are normal.Other test reports & parameters are also normal Re-tested from 2 different labs on the next day.On one it came 1.10 mg/dl (ref range : 0.6 - 1.30) & on another it came 1.18 mg/dl (ref range : upto 1.4). Having excessive weight loss of 10 Kgs,having excessive anxiety & stress, taking librium 25 (chlordiazepoxide) (1 tab twice a day) since 7 months & smoking excessively since 7 months Can any of these factors cause a spike in creatinine level? Is the spike in creatinine level normal considering other reports & my age?

Ur creatine is with in normal limits,we expect there to be a fluctuation of 15-20% , creatinine levels depends on age ,muscle and hydration status
Next Steps
if your worried about such fluctuations u can get a serum cystatin c it's more accurate and better than creatine
