Ringworm like rash under arm

Asked for Female, 25 Years

Hi, I have developed a ringworm like rash under both my arms which is quite repititive. It heals but comes back again. i had burnt my skin due to baking soda under arm which cause inflammation and developed into rash.

The treatment for fungal infection is simple. You have to take anti fungal tablets and creams for 4 to 6 weeks following which it resolves. Do not apply soap on that area and do not self treat with over the counter steroid creams. Mistreatment with steroid creams and self treatment with cheaper medicine is the most common reason for recurrent disease. Please visit me at my clinic for treatment. If it is fungal, it needs to be treated as it might spread more and also to others.
