Every night (only at night) I keep hearing something like a cricket in my right ear. I tried looking for the source of the noise but there doesn't seem to be anything. What could it be? I'm 100% sure the sound doesn't come from my room since even when I sleep somewhere else I can still hear it.

it's called tinnitus..it may occur due to various reasons.. eustachian tube dysfunction/early sensory neural hearing loss/unknown reason.. visit an ENT specialist for opinion..
