Ring finger dislocation
I dislocated my ring finger 1 week ago. I twisted it back into place. My second knuckle on the ring finger is swollen, but I can bend each joint on my finger with a little effort. At this point, 1 week after injury, will going to a doctor do much for my condition? Or will they put a splint on it and tape it up until swelling goes down? Thank you!

Hi This certainly requires splinting to reduce inflammation ( Which must have reduced on it's own to some extent). Do icing in case u have not done till now. u can buy a frog splint online, n use it for about a week n then discontinue it after that.
Next Steps
let me know ur Condition after this so that I can guide u with the exercises.
