Right Temporal Bone CT Scan Report
Technical aspect: Axial and direct coronal HRCT of temporal bone has been performed. Clinical history: C/O RIGHT EAR FISTULA WITH OTITIS MEDIA xCHILDBIRTH H/O RIGHT EAR HEARING LOSS,WATER DISCHARGE XCHILDBIRTH- Observations:  Right temporal bone: Right tympanic membrane is Thickened with erosion of scutum and Soft tissue density in Prussak space with soft tissue density in the epi,meso and hypotympanum with soft tissue density in the aditus ossicles are preserved. ad antrum and mastoid air cells with Soft tissue density in sinus tympani and facial recess. The ear External auditory canal: Bony and cartilagenous portion of right EAC is normal. Inner ear: Semicircular canals appear normal. The cochlea appears normal. Aqueduct appears normal. Facial Canal: The horizontal, vertical portions of facial nerve canal is intact. Carotid and jugular foramen are intact. The jugular plates are intact. The internal auditory canal appears normal in configuration.
