Right lower abdomen pain
Hello Doctor I am experiencing the lower right abdomen pain near inguinal area nearly a month or more.. One day I had pain at night that we went to emergency department. They did a CT Scan and everything came normal.. But I still feel pain which is at times sharp and mostly dull.. Sometimes it aches like a period cramps which penetrates to my hip and back.. Pain increases if I work especially bending. I also experience Flatulence Bloating and pain while pooping.. Feeling good if I am not having any food.. What could be the cause for this pain?

It becomes difficult to give a comment which overrides a CT Scan. But there are two factors which need to be considered; The most common two causes of right sided lower abdomen pain are Appendicitis and a Rt sided ovarian cyst. Appendicitis may not always be diagnosed by a CT Scan. So the next answer is a course of Antibiotics followed by a Laparoscopy if the symptoms still persist. Of course a good clinical examination by a Gynaecologist and a General Surgeon are most essential.
