During extreme pain in an RA flare. Is it required to take a shot directly or take pills. When you are unable to stand because there is extreme pain in the calf muscles is that considered a severe flare.

Extreme pain in your calf is not a sign of RA .
But yes it must be a low B12
Kindly ice and warm packs for 5 mins twice a day
And take paracetamol if pain doesn’t get relieved.
