Eat soft and easy-to-digest foods like well-cooked vegetables, white rice, bananas, boiled potatoes, and homemade curd. Avoid spicy, fried, and junk food, as well as caffeine, alcohol, dairy (if it upsets your stomach), and artificial sweeteners. Include foods like oats, apples (without peel), soaked chia seeds, and isabgol to help with digestion and control diarrhea. Drink enough water, but don’t drink large amounts at once. Coconut water is good for hydration. Eat small meals more often instead of heavy meals to avoid stomach discomfort. Cut down on sugar, white bread, maida, sweets, packaged juices, and soft drinks to protect your liver and control blood sugar. Eat more protein like eggs, fish, paneer (if tolerated), dal, and curd to support digestion and energy levels. Use healthy fats like nuts, seeds, olive oil, and avocado. Avoid deep-fried foods. Walk for at least 30-40 minutes daily to help your liver and manage blood sugar. Choose whole grains like brown rice, whole wheat roti, quinoa, and millets instead of white rice and maida products. Always eat protein and fiber along with carbs, like dal with roti and salad, to keep sugar levels stable. Avoid sugary drinks and choose herbal tea or lemon water instead. Eat in moderation, even with healthy foods, to prevent weight gain and sugar spikes. Check your vitamin D and B12 levels, as low levels can make you feel weak and worsen symptoms. Reduce stress with meditation, yoga, or deep breathing, as stress can trigger stomach issues and affect sugar levels. Sleep well for 7-8 hours daily, as poor sleep can lead to cravings and digestion problems.
Next Steps
Avoid adding table salt, extra oil, or heavy tadka to your meals. This helps reduce unnecessary sodium and unhealthy fats, supporting better heart health and overall wellness.
