Posted Q earlier, I have stopped abruptly the medications by a neurpsch everything normal now etc. Had extreme drowsiness, sleep probs etc. That doc worsened things, never addressed anything, ignored concerns, kept pushing for admit to CIP, he gaslighted & panicked my mom. My primary doc(general/senior cardio suggested me to stop his meds but I didn't listen to him as I was hoping it to work also had went through several psychiatry resources earlier. These are past events, as of now I tried Ar/modafinil off label for academic progress, countering fatigue, efficiency etc. effects were inconsistent, discomfort.I am requesting again methylphenidate (Inspiral), non adhd/nlepsy for short term R53,R41.840,F06.7 etc.I am trying to navigate this transparently and responsibly. RMP are resistant for this rx & I don't have time & will have to resort to black/illcit sourcing because of no rx. So to avoid that I am requesting. I repsect your expertise & will comply. so please see if you can, thnkyou

Hello,
I understand your frustration, and I can see you are trying to be transparent and responsible. However, medicines like Methylphenidate (Inspiral) are controlled substances in India. They are legally prescribed only for clear indications such as ADHD or narcolepsy, after thorough assessment. For academic fatigue or concentration difficulties without a confirmed diagnosis, doctors cannot prescribe them ethically or legally.
Using stimulants without proper supervision can cause serious risks- anxiety, palpitations, blood pressure changes, dependence, and worsening of sleep problems. That’s why most medical practitioners will be cautious.
Next Steps
1. Instead of seeking stimulants, please consult a psychiatrist for a comprehensive re-evaluation- sometimes conditions like depression, anxiety, sleep disorders, or ADHD present with fatigue and poor focus, and each has safer, targeted treatments.
2. Non-stimulant options (therapy, lifestyle measures, sleep regulation, and sometimes specific non-stimulant medications) may help more sustainably.
3. If ADHD is confirmed, then medicines can be prescribed under supervision and in safe doses.

Health Tips
Please avoid self-sourcing or black-market medicines. This is unsafe and can cause legal as well as health complications. A structured, supervised plan with a psychiatrist is the safest way forward.
