Hello & Welcome to PRACTO This is your Dentist - I went through your query and the attached OPG. I would suggest restoration ( fillings ) is a very bad idea if your are talking about the lower tooth next to third molar. You need a Root Canal for permanent relief. You need 2 more Root Canal in upper right 1st &2nd Premolar . Restoration means opting for a filling ,the tooth you are taking about has a Caries due to the  bent third molar. The Carious area can not be reached for fillings hence won't be successful.  Although Root Canal  of the lower right second molar and Extraction of third molar will be a permanent solution for you. Post me a query if you need any further help and support. Thank's Alot. Have a Good Day.

Either deep caries management or RC treatment. It's mandatory as that tooth has a very important role in chewing. Do not delay, get it treated. Restoration means removal of decayed portion of tooth and replace or filling it with cement.

That teeth have deep dental decay. If you have pain on that tooth do rct. Rct is a mild painful procedure.

Impacted wisdom tooth often causes carious lesions(decay) in the adjacent second molars. In your case it looks like the second molar has a decay. So, better get it restored and if the food impaction problem persists you may have to get the wisdom tooth removed
Next Steps
Restoration of second molar
Health Tips
if the food impaction problem persists extract third molar and also replace the missing right upper first molar.

Yes , your dentist is right. You need to get restoration of your next to wisdom tooth done. There are various materials available for restoration like amalgam, gic restoration, composite. But I think composite restoration will be better because it matches with your tooth color. Cost of restoration or dental teratment varies from dentist to dentist. It depends on cost of material , quality of material used for restoration and offcourse te techniques and instruments used by dentists. Normally I charge more than 1500 rs for composite restoration for posterior teeth and for anterior teeth more than 2500 rs. But if he is using best material he can charge you more. You also need to get extraction of your wisdom tooth done as it is disturbing the adjacent teeth and making that tooth various. Once the resort done with adjacent tooth. Caries will not be progressed further otherwise there will be progression of caries. Kindly trust your dentist.
