Hi.
Since the wisdom tooth is in very close approximation to the nerve please do get the tooth removed by an oral and maxillofacial surgeon only as they are specialised in the same.
Hello
There may be little chances of nerve damage during extraction but if the damage is severe then it can cause problems
But if the nerve damage is mild then it can be treated
