Resting heart rate low
My resting heart rate(i.e when lying Or sitting) is always between 50-60, sometimes even 48-50 bpm..But whenever I stand up or does work it returns to normal. Did ecg, echo and thyroid profile. Ecg shows low heart rate, but echo test and thyroid profile was fine. My doctor told me not to worry about it. Is it normal or what should I do? I have no other problems except acid reflux

Hi. You have written your reports are normal. Also when you do any activity pulse rate increases means a normal chronotropic response. Low normal resting heart rate is nothing to worry if you have no symptoms like extreme fatigue or fainting and if your heart rate increases proportionately with physical activity.
