Resting Heart beat 48 to 55
Dear sir/ madam I am 36 years old . My heart beat on resting ( sitting and bed) always 50 to 55 and morning wake up time It will be 48to 52. Some time chest discomfort also. 6 months back I have checked ecg echo tmt and all the blood reports like troponin I and t ckmb thyrod and all reports were normal. Two weeks back I checked endoscopy and all the blood reports also for gerd purpose. Now iam taking vitamin d tablet for weekly one for 8 weeks and renerve plus injection weekly 2 for four weeks. Vitamin b12 - 176 Vitamin d- 18 Please advise reason for low heart rate on resting.

Low heart rate is common in athletic people and on beta blockers....

Complaint has been on for 6 months , however no serious event or hospitalization has occurred which nearly rules out serious underlying condition. I would like to have a look at the ECG strip and the Echo report though you mention it as normal.

There is no need to worry. however get an ECG done as soon as possible whenever you have any chest discomfort or Giddiness
