Req to know if reports are typhoid
Had repeatedly fever for couple of days 8 days back RTPCR negative when tested 4 days back, Tested RTPCR and blood test yesterday. Negative for covid RTPCR test, tested a day back, Dengue and malaria tested negative, D-Diamer values are showing high - 2.0 Typhoid values are like this: Salmonella Thphi O -1:160 - detected Salmonella Thphi H - 1:80 - detected Salmonella Thphi AH - 1:20 - not detected Salmonella Thphi BH - 1:20 - not detected Please suggest if it is typhoid or should we go for COVID testing, our local physician suggest to take ivermectin & doxy. So confused. Your right suggestions will help us identify problem and take right medications.

Please kindly note that your physician is correct as it is not typhoid it is the cross reacting antibodies that is giving typhoid positivity. Please use medication and isolation for 2wks should suffice.
