My dad had recently done test at nephrologist office and these are the reports hba1c is 8.4 and nephrologist said no need for medicines how to make diabetes under control ?and all the other reports normal?

What the nephrologist meant was that no medicines are required for kidneys as kidney function is adequate.
That doesn't mean he doesn't require Anti diabetic medication.
At HbA1C of 8.4 he certainly requires medication for sugar control ( apart from diet mgmt and exercise)
