Hi ,
My baby had renal pelvis dialation 2 times during my pregnancy later on it was resolved on it own during Ultrasound findings now she is 7 days old do I need to get check up any for my new born or not required as it got resolved on it own before pregnancy.
Hello
If the antenatal hydronephrosis (dilated renal pelvis) was seen on a fetal scan and completely resolved on later pregnancy scans, the outlook is usually very good. However, a follow-up after birth is still generally recommended around 1st week. If ultrasound is normal, no further follow-up is usually needed.

Greetings
postnatal kidney ultrasound for your newborn, even if the renal pelvis dilation appeared to resolve on later pregnancy scans. Prenatal resolution is highly reassuring, but transient changes can occur due to late-pregnancy fetal positioning or shifting fluid levels. A baseline evaluation after birth ensures the urinary system is draining perfectly and rules out any subtle, lingering abnormalities. The initial ultrasound is typically scheduled within the first few weeks of life to allow the baby’s early fluid levels to stabilize. Please consult your pediatrician
