Regarding Thyroid tablet after pregnancy
Hi, my wife got thyroid(initial test was 6) during pregnancy and she was using thyronom 50mcg. We have taken test now and she was having 0.11. Do she needs to continue the same medicine or no need. Please suggest.

The current TSH shows hyperthyroidism, this means the dose of thyronorm is higher than her requirement and needs to be decreased. The dose change will depend on her symptoms, weight and time since delivery as well as cause of hypothyroidism. It is usual to decrease thyronorm dose after pregnancy.
