I was prescribed Nexito 5 mg, and my doctor advised me to stop it on 15 January 2026. Instead, I reduced it to 2.5 mg daily and have remained stable with no withdrawal symptoms.
Since I was originally advised to stop directly from 5 mg, would it be okay to stop from 2.5 mg now, or would a further taper be preferable? If so, what tapering schedule would you recommend? Would it be reasonable to stay on 2.5 mg until my academic commitments are over and taper afterwards?

2.5 mg is a small dose , it's reasonable to stop all at once, or taking it alternate days and stop. If u feel this small dose is some how helping and want to take till ur academic demands are met it's also okay, but would advise to see a psychiatrist just in case
