Regarding stomach problem
I was prescribed for meva-c tablet for IBS in last year by senior gastroenterologist in Asian institute of gastroenterology.at the time i have used for 1month got cured.now i am geting same symptoms like excessive gas passing, littile while mucus with stool.relive the stomach after passing the gas or stool.i have an anxiety issue .is it safe to use meva c tablet for long time. is it a steriod?one month back o took stool test which is negative with blood.one year back done with colonoscopy.eveeything normal.recently done abdominal ultrasound which is normal.please suggest.

Yes it can be used for longer use but only on prescription.
It is not a steroid.
