Regarding runny nose in baby
Sir my baby is 10 months old. He has runny nose since 7 days, I have given sinarest 4 ml for 3 days but no improvement then I am giving maxtra syrup (3ml ) 3 times from 2 days and using saline nasal spray but still he has runny nose. I gave steam inhalation also with hot water for 2 times yesterday but then also still he has runny nose, what to do, is there any problem with cold staying so long? I am not giving any cold food also then what can be the reason & is there any changes in diet need to be made along with any medicine?

Hello, any cold it takes time to resolve..you can give zyrtec syrup …1.2 ml twice a day for —-3 days and nasal saline spray … better to avoid steam inhalation at this age…if still no improvement then consult local paediatrician
Health Tips
Avoid cold foods like banana ,citrus fruits, keep the baby warm..caps,socks ,sweater… kindly consult in detail for further opinion.

First of all maxtra and sinarest should not be used. Next only medicine that can be used is probably 2nd gen antihistaminic based combinations . Contrary to our beliefs running nose is not bcz of cold food .
