Regarding radiotherapy on head neck canc
Sir/ma'am
After how many days of completion of IGRT technique given on Face and neck for oral cancer, does the taste of mouth and easy swallowing come back to normal? Is there any medicine to bring taste back in mouth?

Follow up CECT face and neck at 3 month after completing the treatment.
All other things will come in 2-3 month

There is no medicine as such to bring back taste sensation in mouth.
It usually takes around 3-6 months for taste to revert.
For ease of swallowing you can ask patient to take small bites and chew properly before swallowing. Also, eating hard foods should be avoided.
Lemon toffees can be given to patient to suck on for production of saliva
