Betnaz TR (propranolol sustained-release) does not come in a 10 mg slow-release version; the SR/TR formulations are only available in higher strengths like 40 mg, 60 mg, or 80 mg. Regular propranolol 10 mg works for only 4–6 hours, so it cannot provide 24-hour control of anxiety or fast heartbeat. If you need steady, all-day symptom control, the best options are Propranolol SR/TR 40 mg once daily or Betnaz TR 20 mg once daily (which usually lasts 12–18 hours but not a full day). Regular 10 mg propranolol is useful only for short episodes of anxiety and must be taken multiple times a day for continuous effect. Always take propranolol after food, avoid it if you have asthma or very low blood pressure, and never stop it suddenly without medical advice.
yes, there is a 10 mg sustained-release (SR) / long-acting propranolol in India, but very few formulations last a full 24 hours reliably at that low dose.
What I found:
Taj Pharma makes Propranolol SR 10 mg tablets.
Taj Pharma India +1
The usual “long-acting” propranolol (like Inderal LA) typically comes in much higher doses (like 60 mg, 80 mg, etc.).
Primary Care Migraine
According to pharmacology data, even long-acting propranolol blood levels may be fairly stable for ~12 hours, then decline.

Interpretation + Advice:
A 10 mg SR tablet is available, but it may not truly cover 24 hours very well, depending on the formulation.
Because your dose is low, your doctor might prefer using immediate-release propranolol (e.g., 10 mg a few times a day) instead of relying on one SR pill to last the whole day.
If you really want a once-daily tablet, you may need to use a higher-dose long-acting (ER/SR) version, and your doctor would adjust the dose accordingly.
What to do next:
Talk to your prescribing doctor or a cardiologist / psychiatrist with these questions:
Can we switch from Betnaz TR 20 mg to a long-acting propranolol?
Is a 10 mg SR tablet good enough, or do I need a higher dose ER?
What schedule (morning/evening) will best control my pulse + anxiety?
