IUI procedure is done in single sitting on the day of ur ovulation. Consultation is necessary at first for complete history , examination and investigations and then accordingly the procedure day is planned.
IUI procedure itself takes 2 to 3 hrs but a patient requires frequent visits to the clinic ffrom her 2nd day of cycle till the procedure for ovarian stimulation medicine and ovulation study
As this present covid outbreak all procedure related to iui and ivf should not be done at least for next 2~3 month... Iui itself small opd procedure which need only 2 hrs including semen process and installation of sperm in uterus with cannula
The procedure of inserting the iui sample takes 5 minutes, followed by 15 minutes of rest. The preperation of the sample for IUI takes up to 2 hours. So a total of 3 hours should be kept aside by the couple
