I was diagnosed with ocd 6 years back (but it was there from childhood) and have been on medication (fluvoxamine) on and off. Currently I'm not taking any SSRI' s. I know that ocd people have symptom of always trying to find new medication or cure so recently I red in an article that inositol can alleviate ocd symptoms so i bought supplement of it and taking it daily 3 times a day of 1gm, in 3 weeks i felt its working so my question is can I take it for a lifetime ? If it so then how much quantity I should take it ?

It is safe to take it. As it is a water soluble vitamin, there is rarely any toxicity related to it. There is no scientific evidence though that it cures OCD.
