Why neck temperature varying from forehead temperature in 2 yr kid using infrared temperature for fever Which reading is considered to be accurate for fever Please my son is having fever but having different readings in forehead and neck Please reply

Hi.... Skin surface temperature may vary... For accurate reading please measure axillary/underarm temperature with help of digital thermometer....

Hello Temperature of skin is different because of skin - exposed or slightly exposed or covered. Take the reading showing - maximum temperature. 🙏Tiwari Child Clinic, Delhi 🙏
