Regarding D dimer
I did D-Dimer test after 6 weeks of covid recovery and I am getting different results at all times and from different labs . Why si it so ? Which one to believe ? I first did it on 9th day of infection(27 April) - the report said 0.18 I did again on 16 jun in the morning and I got it as -1.22 I doubted the report as previously it was fine and in the same evening I did from another lab and it was - 106 (in another unit so 0.106) I did again after 5 days from another lab and I got it as - 0.51 Now I am confused as which to believe . I am feeling anxious and nervous . Should I take blood thinners or not ? Also I was thinking for vaccination ? Should I get vaccinated or not ?

Hi, do not worry as all these values are in range of 0.1- 1 microgram/ml. These values will eventually decline in next 2-3 months. No need to take blood thinners on your own. Consult a Doctor in person for that. And as far as vaccine is concerned you are supposed to take it 90 days after you recovered completely from covid
