Regardin a cut in finger
My wife is 3 month pregnant. She got a cut in her finger while working in kitchen. It bled for sometime. Late I cleared with detail and put some liquid betadene on the cut. Does she need to take any antibiotic or something. Is it safe to take some tablet during pregnancy. Please guide.

Kindly share a picture of the cut the role of antibiotics starts depending on the deepness of the cut and the associated Oedema and inflammatory changes at the wound site. U had done good primary care of the wound that will help her a lot. And tetanus vaccination is mandatory.
