Knife cut in kitchen
Hi, i have accidentally cut my finger while chopping vegetables today around 11AM. I guess its a bit deep cut. Can you help me with basic firstaid. Can i clean the cut with spirit and use betadin powder? I applied turmeric to stop bleeding.

Hi Clean the wound with water and any antiseptic solution Apply betadine ointment or neosporin powder Cover the wound with cotton bandage Take TT/Td injection If u have not taken it in last 3 years ( but if u remember taking TT/Td within last 3 year you can skip it) This should suffice fir now But in case if you later develop swelling/ pain/ pus you will need antibiotics and proper dressing

Use betadine or soframycin ointment. You can also use band aid. Tab crocin if pain is severe.
