Acid reflux is a common problem. It can lead to serious complications in long term and has to be stopped. Upper GI endoscopy may be done to rule out hiatus hernia lax les etc causes. Medicines provide relief when taken. But to cure acid reflux, stress anxiety etc have to be identified and  resolved.
